Little is known by us of Bosdet's paintings.
Documentary
Maya Hammarsal and Mark Jones co-wrote, directed and produced in 2009 the excellent documentary ‘Bosdet: the Man behind the Glass Window’, which they have kindly made available to view online below. A visual representation of Bosdet’s life and works and filmed over a period of 10 months in three different countries, they were joined in the filmaking process by fellow Jerseymen — Daniel Edmunds and composer Charles Mauleverer, with website support from Steven Walton.
About Us
The Glass Rainbow Trust has been set up as a Jersey Registered Charity to celebrate the life and work of Henry Thomas Bosdet, a Jerseyman born in 1856, and to encourage learning about Bosdet and the art of stained glass.
The current patrons are Mr Charles Malet de Carteret and Mrs Judy Smith. We are Association of Jersey Charities Member no.257.
This website is work in progress.
